Ekkiechat is actually composed of two parts.  First is an email list for Eclectus parrot owners.  We are a group of over 1,000 people whose purpose is to share Eclectus education, knowledge and most of all, FUN.  Ekkiechat is a free speech email list; there are no rules but one:  NO FLAMING.  We share jokes, puns, limericks, personal chit chat, pictures, stationery, gif and jpg files, and of course, brag about our birds.  It is an INclusive list; all are welcome!  Nothing is considered off topic - our purpose is to get to know each other better while sharing our love for our birds. We generate a high volume of email, so you have several options:  Regular mail, digest, or special notices.  Digest members receive about 25 posts per email, and special notice members can read the archives to catch up on our news at their own convenience and receive only those emails which are considered vital.
